Our Process
Creating an illustrated park map is part research, part design, and part storytelling. Our process blends on-site exploration, careful illustration, and modern web tools to produce maps that are both informative and inviting—built to grow with your park over time.
1. Consultation
We begin with a collaborative conversation to understand your park, goals, priorities, and vision for the map.
2. Onsite Data Gathering
We visit the park to locate, document, and photograph all relevant trails, features, landmarks, and amenities to ensure accuracy and completeness.
3. Map Design and Illustration
Using the collected data, we create an illustrated base map, design custom icons, refine layout and labeling, and produce a proof for your review and feedback.
4. Web Map and Photo Integration
We develop the interactive web version of the map, integrate 360° photos if requested, and set up hosting for easy sharing and embedding.
5. Delivery and Print-Ready Production
You receive high-resolution print files for signage and bulletins, PDF versions, and a live web map link ready to embed or share.
